There’s so much to love about life in the NW, but my heart aches this time every year for Michigan’s lake cottage culture. The closest analogs in OR and WA might be North Tenmile Lake/Dunes (minus the ATV crowds), or Puget Sound, but with a fraction of the cost and 10x the availability.
